A distortion of the novel, The Beach

Yellow smoke lifts on a trash-drenched bay. A traveller discovers paradise closed down, guarded by a shark.

Eden is a retelling of Alex Garland’s novel, The Beach. It also might be a retelling of its 2000 film adaptation of the same name. Maybe.

Massive Owl expose the fiction and truth of Garland’s popular novel. The second show in the company’s Distortion Trilogy, the Owls bring you a work about adaptation, Generation X and a ruined nirvana.

This is Eden.

Eden is currently in development.

Created by Massive Owl.

Performed by Jenny Duffy, Sam Powell and Danny Prosser.
